spouse visa...

hi everyone

my wife handed over her spouse visa application last thursday (3rd may 2007) and is still awaiting a response from the british consulate in jakarta (indonesia). is anyone aware of how long these applications take to be processed?

Doesn't look and easy place to even get a visa....

a friend of ours recieved their spouse visa within 24 hours of applying to the british embassy in jakarta. is getting that elusive first visa the hardest step in these situations? or is our hard work only just starting?
