Question on Section 6 of the new SET(O) form - ILR

Post by fairandsquare » Fri May 04, 2007 3:56 pm

Hi,

Question 6.1 of the new SET(O) form: "When did you (the main applicant) first enter the UK? This refers to the date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which the application is based".

I first entered the UK as a student in 2000, but I started my employment with work permit granted in 2002. Which date shall I write down then? Do I have to list all the absences during my student period as well as the working period?

Look forward to any feedback. Many thanks.

Assuming your ILR application is based on WorkPermit I think you should give the date on which you got Entry clearance based on workpermit.

They've already made it very clear that you should list all absences regardless length (even if its only 1 day).

Thanks, does it mean that I have to list all the absences during the period of being a student - from my first entry to the UK (2000) to the date of my first WP (2002) as well?
