Thanks Anis, I have a similar situation with Amber, I applied thru a consultant, thus I dont have my reference. I just acted on your advice and email home office with the details you highlighted (i'll let the forum know the outcome). Meanwhile i'm at loss at why the consultants are hiding the reference info :?: . You guys are doing a great job on this forum :D

hi..Thaks for the nice words.. Well even consultants or solicitors dont have the reference no. with them. The reason is HO does not acknowledge the receipt of application by return.. So either you or consultant need to send them the mail requesting the #. I dont think they hide the nos. with any ulterior motive so avoid the wrong impression of consultants...

Thank you Anis. I think you are right, may be they (the consultants) did not even ask. The only thing is that i'm not really sure of the submission date, i rec'd the consultant email on 17 May saying that they have submitted my application but they didnt mention the exact date. So I just took the submission date as 17 May.

Hi eastboy,
i was actually looking forward to news from you. since HO indicated that they are working on 16 April as at 13 Sept and yours is 20 April. My assumption is that they dont work on weekends and as such wouldnt have applications for 17 & 18 april. I then presume that they should be on applications submitted on 19 and/or 20 by now i.e. 4 days after commencinf work on 16 april applications.

yes ur right but the thing is documents take 2-3 weeks time to reach us .....
and as now im thinking ppl from start must be getting some results
i got answer from HO that i have to wait for another 2 weeks

Based on all the data I have collected from you guys and putting some basic assumptions such as Home Office will not work on week ends and they process approximately 40-60 applications per day, this is how it looks.

For the rest of the members, there has been no news from any of the April applicants. As they say, "Patience is a virtue". I am just getting to know whether I am gifted with that virtue or not.

Can one of you or all of you shoot a mail to HSMP enquiring if your application has been processed or not. At least we will get to know something.

If they don't update the site by tomorrow, at least all of us can get some info as to how far they have reached in processing.

My application was approved on September 14 and received original documents along with decison letter on Spetember 21.
Reference No is 1672X.
HSMP application date: April 15, 2004
Application processed on September 14.

Did you guys write to HO and get any response from them??? Technically in our group you are the only guys to whom HO will respond as you are really next in the queue.

They should have updated the website yesterday. I hope they do it today. In one of the message boards I read that there was a talk of HO workers going on strike, is it true???

Their response to your guys is our only source of information.
