what docs: visiting an ill family member

I am thinking of submitting documents to show that I have visited my family outside UK for 3 weeks due to family emergency. (I am below the allowed absence threshold anyway, but it is better to be prepared with any letters I guess!?)

Not sure what documents to submit. Is it just a personal letter and a medical letter regarding overseas family member?

Dear if you are well under 180 days then you don"t need to submit this unless asked for .

Why making to complicated????

Just keep it simple.....
