Using Settlement Checking Service, recent waiting times?

Post by gnpg » Tue Jul 23, 2013 3:30 pm

I'm thinking about using the SCS, but can't seem to find any recent timelines that have used this route. I'll be applying in August but I would need my approval in 2 months time...has anyone recently used this service?

Hi gnpg,

From what I've come across, some ILR applicants using SCS have their approvals in 4 weeks on average:

And you get to keep your travel documents too.

All the best.

I'm just split between choosing the premium service as there are still some dates in August I can attend, but using SCS saves me nearly 300 quid!

I do have a holiday booked in November so just a bit nervous about this thing taking more than 8 weeks...

Even with the SCS it could take up to 6 months to process.
