English requirement evidence

I did an MSc from University of East Anglia 2 years ago and have been on a PSW since then. The online points calculator says I don't need to show any other proof besides this degree but the help and guidance notes for the application say that I need to have a degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate degree.

It also says that if a previous application had been approved with the evidence I gave, I don't need to show any other proof. I'm assuming my PSW would be included in this but I'm still confused.

Do I have to send them my undergraduate degree as well or will my MSc suffice?

Hey Shruti,

I have just applied for Tier 2 (General) got the visa in 6 days.

Send your original certificate of award for
1. Msc
2. Bsc - put a sticky note on this 'Evidence of previous qualification'.

Simple. They will consider your MSc but since you are providing them with Bsc as well it will iterate the fact you are trying to assert you have points for English Language.

NOTE: Please laminate both your certificates - UKBA sent a bent certificate back to me, I was furious despite sending everything in an 'do not bend' envelope.

Maximus- 6 days! Did you apply through the premium service?
The only problem I have with sending my bachelors degree is that its huge! Its going to be a problem sending it!

How come your bachelors degree is huge?? everyone else seems to have 1 certificate that says BSc / BA in something and a university Logo. Please don't send ukba your transcripts for your bachelor.

6 Days by providing ukba everything they need to see and not via premium service but by priority service.

I meant its big in size, not that its got multiple pages.
