PERSONAL HISTORY CONVICTION WITH FINE JULY 2013

Hi all.
I am planing to apply for the tier 1 entrepreneur 50k in September. I have just been tried in court and fined £500 for Fraudulent Scheme; a criminal conviction. Will this affect my application under Grounds for Refusal?

It's not possible to say for definite but the following are grounds for refusal:

322(5) the undesirability of permitting the person concerned to remain in the United Kingdom in the light of his conduct (including convictions which do not fall within paragraph 322(1C), character or associations or the fact that he represents a threat to national security;

(5A) it is undesirable to permit the person concerned to enter or remain in the United Kingdom because, in the view of the Secretary of State:

(a) their offending has caused serious harm; or

(b) they are a persistent offender who shows a particular disregard for the law;
