Do these pay slips need to be stamped and signed by employer? ...I mean, like how we get it done for HSMP approval?

Hi All,

Is anybody waiting for more than 3 weeks for EC. I haven't got a call or email for BHC to take up medical or something.

IS it normal or i am more anxious.

Thanks and regards

Dont Worry hsmp_apr

It may take 3 weeks. In the meanwhile you can call up BHC and enquire about your application status.

All the best!!

VAF1 form for EC - Some clarifications

Post by psgcbe » Sun May 13, 2007 7:21 pm

Hi All,
I am trying to fill the VAF1 form for EC. I have the following doubts.

Section 6.4, 6.5, 6.6 asks for Employers's telephone number, fax number and e-mail address.

I am working in a large mnc. What numbers do i need to give. Is it general contact numbers ? what would be the e-mail address in that case ?

Do i need to give my supervisor contacts instead ?

Experinced members please help.

Thank you very much

Thanks a lot praveen for your prompt reply.. But, what do you mean by employer ? I work in a team and i report to my Team lead. Can i give his desk number and e-mail id ? In a MNC like mine where thousands of people work the general number would be the reception number. But i dont think they will respond to quries from HO :(

Thanks in advance.

You can give your employers contact details.

Employers's telephone number, fax number and e-mail address:
If you work in MNC, you can give
Company board number as Employer telephone number
fax number as Employer Fax Number
e-mail address as Your official email id.

They will check whether the candidate is working currently in the organization.

All the best.

my findings.

Post by aprilhsmp » Mon May 14, 2007 9:13 am

Today I submitted EC form. My findings:

Today I submitted my applications (mine and my dependents) in Bangalore office. Some key points.

1. They accepted 50x50 size photos.
2. You can glue the photo. Also take photocopy of you VAF1 first page and 8th page.
3. Take photocopy of first and last pages of all passports that you are submitting(urs and dependents). They seal and return it back once you submit the forms.
4. Main applicant's passport all pages photocopy is required.
5. Integra form was a 1 page(shorter version of the form available on net) and second page was a listing of what all points claimed and proofs gives at HSMP time.
6. after filling integra form you need to get a photocopy done of that form as well.
7. Integra needed employer info for only past one year.

I submitted following documents in original.
For EC
1. all my hsmp documents.
2. hsmp approval letter
3. EC forms VAF1 for myself, spouse and child.
4. marriage certificate+photos
5. birth certificate of child.
6. accomodation proof hotel booking receipt
7. last 6 months bank statement
8. all the passports

For integra
1. first and 8th page of VAF1 form photocopy
2. integra form and its copy
3. salary slips 2 months photocopy
4. degree photocopy
5. photocopy of all pages of my passport

I paid fees in cash. There was a queue and it took me around 3 hrs to get everything done.

They do not allow laptop and other electronic items in the office except mobile which should be kept switched off.

integrascreen has become part of Ec processing. So you need to give both applications together. In the VFS office one officer checked my application for EC and supporting documents and also the integrascreen form and supporting documents. Then he kept the integrascreen ones with him and asked me to pay the fees and submit doc at the main counter.

There was no seperate fees for integra screen.

they took together as a bunch. I did not have a file.

I gave all HSMP+EC docs together with a paper binder clip and integra ones seperately stappled.

They have some black colour folder in which they put EC docs. Integra docs were kept seperately. actually that is why you need some photocopies as i mentioned in list. Though you have given passport, VAF1 form and payslips along with EC docs, the integra set needs photocopy.

aprilhsmp-When you applied for EC, did you also submitted 3 yrs IT return or they are not required any more? Also are we supposed to submit some residence proof as well ?

yes this is the one page form. Actually 4 days back they had bigger form on this link which is now replaced by the 1 page form.

No I did not submit any IT returns for integra. I have submitted only the things listed in my previous message. Residence proof is not required.

Hi All,

This forum has been great help to me. Thank you all you guys who has posted helpful posts.

I received HSMP approval, and after that I started working on searching the job. Recently, I got a job offer, and I have received the offer letter.

Now I am planing to apply for EC. I have few questions and constraints, I hope you guys would clarify them:

1.
I dont have sufficient funds, as posted in earliar replies. I have like 1500 GBP, but I have the offer letter and im still single. Also, I would be joining the new job as soon as I land there.

2.
I plan to submit my resignation, after my visa is stamped.

3. Also, I am planning to do 2 weeks of hotel booking , which is 1 month from the day of stamping.

Request you all to give your valuable suggesions .

Regards,

-Ahmed
