How long will High Commision keep OCI

Hi friends,

My OCI and my family's OCIs have been received at the London High Commission on 16/07/2013.
However due to us being abroad, I'm not in a position to submit my passport at the high commission until end of August.

(i) Does anyone know how long will the Indian High Commission keep the OCIs with them?
(ii) Is there a time restriction, within which once has to get OCIs stamped?
(iii) Will High Commision send the OCIs back to India if not collected in certain time?

There is no such timeline. I think you should be fine to collect after your return in August.
