Not sure if you managed to get your OCI. I sent my British pp, printout and a self addressed special delivery envelope on the 15th of July and got the PP and OCI booklet back on the 19th of July.piridi.ark wrote:What are the time lines for OCI card collection by post at London office??
can anybody please advise.
Cheers
I applied last month in London and got there at 645am and eventually got token no. 51. I was done by 11am. Just for your info, my OCI was back in London exactly 4 weeks later.TintinHerge wrote:I am planning to apply in person on 23rd July at HCI London and I will post my updates here.
Any tips about what is the best time to reach there to avoid long queues?
Thanks

I would go for OCI misc service.nnn wrote:Just 2 weeks after I have finished this tiresome process, my passport was stolen whilst travelling.
I have applied for a duplicate, but please can you guide how the OCI will work in this case. On my Original Passport i had a Visa(OCI sticker) . I still have the OCI booklet.
please can someone guide the process to have OCI visa on my issued duplicate passport - please don't tell me the process all over again?
cheers

Applied At HCI London (in person)
Applied On : 30-JUL-2013
I reached at 9.30am and there was no queue for the token - Please be aware that there is a queue but it is not for the OCI token - Go straight to the entrance door. I was instantly given a token number 503 (which I was told meant 103 for the day). When I asked nicely what time would that mean, he said 12.45pm but as the office is closed from 1 pm to 2pm, its best I came back at 2pm.vicky101 wrote:Hi TintinHerge,
Can you share your experience at OCI London... how long was the queue, what time you reached there and by what time got free ? I heard that because holiday season is over, its bit relaxed.. is it true ?
Yes, for Applying for OCI in person you can apply at London (eventhough they say you must submit at Birmingham) as I did at London. My mates told me it takes around 2-3 months if applied at Birmingham!tssivakumar wrote:I live in Leicester and would like to know if I can apply for OCI Card in London or in Birmingham? Is it compulsory that I only apply in my jurisdiction i.e. Birmingham, or can I apply anywhere? Also I would like to know which one is better for postal application?
