Hi all,

I have a unique situation. Just got ILR for me and my famly. My eldest son is 17 now hence LIUK was not required for the ILR which we have got last month (July 2013).

However, he will turn 18 years next month and when we apply for Naturalisation next year (July 2014), does he need to pass LIUK and also comply with ESOL requirements? He has studied English at GCSE and finished A Levels. He will be in University from this September?

Any advice and thoughts are highly appreciated.

Thank you very much for quick response.

I will buy the new LIUK book and ask him to start prepare and finish this as soon as he turns 18 so that this will out of way for his University studies.
