Hi seasoned members,
Pls has anyone here heard of any Press/rumour that govt will or has increased the 14 years long residence application time requirement from 14 to 20yrs?
pls just tell me it is not true!

@D4109125, thats bad news. What of the 10 years long residence application time requirement? has the time requirement changed?

No, if you are here legally and continuously for 10 years, then you can apply under the 10 year long residence rules.

There may also be other ways to settle i.e. if you have a child etc....
