After 72 working days when we involved the MP in our case and when he contacted the BHC for enquiring about my application, he came to know that my application is still in queue :(

And after that now BHC has informed to MP that they has assigned a ECO to work on my application after 74 working days :( :(

I think I will get RFC in the end of September or may be in october :( :(

Maybe you guys won't like me saying this, but it is becoming more and more and more difficult to for you to bring spouses over from Pakistan. You should try and discourage people from marrying someone in Pakistan, it is completely incorrect to assume that it's cheaper and more convenient. The VISA, ILR, flight tickets, nationalisation, legal aid etc soon amounts to ridiculous figures.

Perhaps you should go on the UKBA site and read the different terms and the criteria you need to meet.

Under each article they have made specific references to figures. £18600 can either be met by a base annual salary or the combination of two or more jobs or even a base salary and guaranteed OT, the guaranteed would need to be on each payslip you provide, though they might not like the OT and reject you but later you'd get the VISA in court.

Because we attach 6 month payslips and they require 1 year as my husband have 2 jobs in uk
That is total and utter drivel, did you speak to anyone before you went and wasted an extra £800+ on re-applying?

If you give 3 months pay slips they ask for 6 months, if you give 6 months pay slips they ask for 12 months. What next, you give 12 months and they ask for 18 months?

You should have appealed, 6 months is more than adequate and if you meet the financial criteria, there's absolutely no reason the judge or even the ECM wouldn't have overturned.

If however 6 months of slips don't add up to give an indication you earn over the baseline annually, that's another matter altogether.

what I don't understand is ukba r british led thing... here in England ppl cnt get eid holiday cus its not a public holiday... so if we have to take bank holidays etc into consideration in our count to 60 days... hw is eid a public holiday for the british ppl?? either hav british public holidays or Pakistani public holidays...

its small things like this that they eff up on and in our cases wen we hav a small minor issue they reject!!

im still waitin for a reply to my last night email.. either they r on holidays... or I scared them...lol

Dear

It does not matter that british people take it as a public holday or anything else, the fact is this that we will collect our passport from Gerry and people who are working there are Pakistani not british and they will take holidays on Eid

But don't worry Gerry will be closed on Thursday and Friday

and after that unfortunately there will be a weekend :x

So you are saying if you like/love/ or see someone as your partner / your soul mate and he/she is from outside EU region , you should not marry them because of VISA fee , ILR fee , Flight tickets ?

it is not difficult , anyone who fulfills the criteria gets his/her partner in UK.
maybe sometime the case can take long time ( appeals ) but i am sure we can all go through it to be with that one special person we chose as our life partner.

Money is not everything.. funny u even counted flight tickets in a reason for not marrying someone from pakistan lol

Gerry update

will be closed on Eid on Thursday and Friday , will start working on normal hours from Monday.

08 August Thursday Eid-ul-Fitr Day 1
09 August Friday Eid-ul-Fitr Day 2

BHC

has not published anything about holidays , but i guess they will be close on same days as well.. as they have Pakistani staff working with them who would be off on Thursday and Friday hence overseas staff will be given off too

After Eid

we can expect things to speed up , as working hours will be back to normal both in Dubai and Pakistan.

Gerry will also turn to full time working hours which were reduced in ramadan.

Best of luck you guys , IA we will all hear positive news soon

As we involved the MP in our case he has informed us that BHC is now working on my application after 74 working days before that my application was in queue so how is it possible to get RFC in this week.
