Application sent to HO on 25.02.13
COA received on 1.03.13(work permit)
Still waiting for RC.
Question is that my EEA wife works as self-employer. When we sent EEA2 application we enclosed contracts with those 4 people she provides service to.
5 months are passed and there was no call from HO to any of her clients to verify that she works for them. Is it normal? Why hasn't HO made a call yet?
I don't think they call contractors. Have you enclosed any other documents to confirm that your wife is self-employed?
I did. Everything that relies to her self-employment. Invoices, reports to HMR, self-assessment, insurance, bank statements as well.
As far i know they don't call . Why you think they will call?

Hi all.

I would highly appreciate help with the following:

1. Can I include more than one EEA national family member on my EEA2 application form?

2. The application form asks for Proof of relationship to EEA family member, which I have provided, but underneath the checklist eg Birth Certificate, Proof of durable relationship, there is proof of residence. Is proof of residence mandatory or is it optional?

3. The application form also asks for proof of dependency if EEA family member is your child over 21 or grandchild. Is this mandatory?

Many thanks in advance!

Mine took a few days, same as for many people...but we never know for sure, they should send it to you as soon as they receive your application.

Ours took a month to come, but that was back in January. Might be faster now.

Did anyone receive their RC from Liverpool in the last week? Still wondering if they are really having technical issues or are just trying to buy some time.

Usually it take just 1 week...but can be delay. So I think you should wait.

I sent EEA 2 application on July 17, got a letter like yours a few days later, and got COA today ( August 8 ), dated July 31. I guess you should get yours within a couple of weeks (they send it 2-nd class mail, so it takes time to arrive).

I do not know. All I say is that I sent an application, then got exactly the same letter - that they got the application, that they will pass it to case worker, and that if there is a problem with fees then they will return my application, This letter clearly was not COA, and there was no mention of right to work. I got the COA only today (with right to work). I also got passports back today (asked for them on July 31).
My guess is it does not matter whether you applied before or not. Since you apply again "from scratch" (and not appeal the refusal) they will treat it as any other application (so they are obliged to issue COA), and the fact that they already have your passport does not matter.
But I am far from being an expert.
