list of absences

Post by v2rfrendz » Thu Aug 08, 2013 11:35 am

Hi all,

I am applying for ILR under the Tier1 General for 5years. I am aware that I need to submit a letter from my employer with list of absences. Does this list only contain the periods that I have travelled outside the UK or does it also include any sick leaves that I have taken during my employment? :?

Thanks for any suggestions!

If your absences are less than 180 days in each 12 month period a letter should not be necessary.

Ah I see. So when does the 12 month period start? Is it 12 months before the visa expires?

Also one of my absences is more than 180 days, so can you please suggest what details i need to include in the letter?

An absence in a 12 month period was greater than 180 days? If so, why?

You do know the absences relate to time outside the UK?

Absences that break the continuous period in the UK, I.e. travel.

ok cool, thank you.

Also looking at the SET O form, there are 2 options :

1. Tier 1 (General) migrant (excluding applicants applying under the terms of the HSMP Forum Judicial Review Policy Document)

2. Tier 1 (General) Migrant applying under the terms of the HSMP Forum Judicial Review Policy Document.

Do you know which option I need to select please? I am applying for ILR after being 5 years on Tier 1 (general). Or do you know what the difference is?
