Is your spouse a PBS dependent?

Then the application would be set(o) if you qualified for ILR as a PBS applicant and your spouse did not extend on flr(m).

Guru, i wasn't sure whether i should have started a new thread, anyway when a ILR holder spouse wants apply for settlement can she apply on set o too.

time line
i received my ILR on 27th february 2013 on the basis of long residency category.

my time line

i had student visa from sep 2002 to 2008
2008 to 2010 post study work
2010 to 28th february 2014 tier 4 visa

my wife came in UK DEC 2006 as a student dependent
dec 2006 to 2008 student dependent
2008 to 2010 post study dependent

2010 to date tier 4 dependent (her current visa expires 28th feb 2014)

she has her life in the uk test and ESOL certifiacte

i also booked a PEO appointment at Liverpool under Set (O) on 27th Aug 2013.

please let me know wether i am in a right path

Well technically as you were granted ilr on the basis of long residency your spouse should switch to flr(m) then apply to settle on set(m). Though some have been successful applying directly on set(m) and a recent person was lucky applying on set(o). However, to avoid disappointment the spouse should ideally switch to flr(m) then apply to settle using set(m) and immigration rule 287(a)(I)(d) which could be done immediately after being granted flr(m) if she meets the requirements.

Ok just confirming as another person started on this thread and really should have created their own.

You can book up to 6 weeks in advance. If you check every day at 9AM and 12 midday then again at 2PM and 4PM they usually add slots that were cancelled.
