Indian Passport Renewal by Post

My Indian passport is expiring in June 2013, I have applied by post on 09 Feb 2013, it has been nearly 3 weeks but still no update.

Does anyone know, how long is the processing time at HCI, London ?

I have also got an ILR, so I also wanted to have UK address on and my wife's Name on new passport.

does anyone know, if they will send all my current passort + Biometric residence permit back with new passport as I have submitted self addressed special delivery envelop, but have not received anything back.

Dude, Got my Passport today after 4 weeks with UK address on new passport as I have also got ILR, Its also clearly mentioned on HCI, London website that you can have UK address just need to submit copy of untility bills

bond123, can you confirm you did not need to go to HCI London to either submit/receive your passport? I have just sent my application to them by post and am now waiting for a response. Knowing about your experience is useful. Thanks.

Can anyone specify if I can apply for renewal of my daughters passport (initially issued for 5 years only) by post. I have been through HCI website, but its not very clear if postal application is accepted.

Also do I need to send any other documents apart from parents passports
