I have a valid work visa, so thankfully I am not leaving.
For this reason I cannot appeal.
In the long 6 pages letter UKBA also stated that I didn't show that I have any ties in the UK (so none of my reference letters from friends/teachers/employers and my partner mattered - this was a big surprise as according to the letter i didn't prove that i am in a relationship with a British person. )
Also, because I was vising my home country all the time and didn't have any relatives staying here, UKBA reasons that I will be perfectly happy to go back home as nothing holds me here.
If you can wait until your overstay goes away I will strongly recommend you doing so. You don't want to pay £1000 and wait for 8 months to get a rejection.
