Date of application

Post by MyHSMPApplication » Thu May 17, 2007 9:04 am

Hi Guys I am planning to apply for HSMP on the 29th of June i.e. I will be using Royal Mail's signed delivery on the 29th. This I hope will reach HSMP office on the 2nd of July 2007

In this case the date of receiving of application will be on the 2nd of July 2007. I was just wondering whether in this case the P60 Covering 6th April 2006 - 5th April 2007 will be considered or not.

Also, what if I plan to give only 11 month's pay slip instead on 12 months. Will this be a case of rejection as 12 month's pay slip is required for HSMP approval.

My 11 month's payslip is making enough points so can i ignore sending the 12th month's (I don't have it)

Do let me know

Cheers
PG

I was told by the HO (via a third party) that they will only consider the 15 month period preceding the month of your application.

So, for example, I am using the pay period March 6, 2006-March 4, 2007 and in order for that period to be considered valid, the HO must have my application by May 31, 2007 (as in, I lose 4 days of the actual 15 month period). I was told that once June begins, they will no longer consider the March-March period. I hope that makes sense. So, in your case, you need to get it received by June 30. July 2nd will be too late.

I'm not sure about the 11 month issue, hopefully someone else knows :)

I will be applying in mid June...and my period of claim will be Apr06-Mar07...I think this period falls under the 15 month period. Could someone comment on this?
