Second TIER 1 Gen extn - 2 or 3 years?

Hi all -

I am on tier 1 general - intially issued 3 years + 1st extn of 2 years - can you confirm if second extn would be for 2 years or for 3 years? I have heard of couple of cases where ppl have been issued 3 years on their second extn (who are on 3+2)

Thank you for your reply but the doc just specifies only about 1st extn and not second.One of my friend who was on 3+2 applied for second extn and got 3 yrs extn this time - so wanted to confirm this but if we go per what the doc says then its 2 yrs.

If you are to assume so, then there is no specified rule regarding period of grant for "second" or "third" or "fourth" ... extension. It is at caseworker's discretion.
