Hi mant,
I am nov 12 applicant and still waiting and we are not the only ones waiting there are people that applied before nov plus 500000 backlog sad but true. Dont be worried i know the pain that waiting brings , i could start writing a book about it :(, have not seen my wife for more than 10 months, it affects my job, lost my holiday back in July. I used to call UKBA and thats waste of time just the standard response from them that we all heard to many times. Please update if u hear anything.

All the best.

Unfortunately i provided only the last P60 and employer letter confirming my 5 years continuous stay plus i also referred to my absence outside the UK which was only 5 days. Hope UKBA accepts this. I do have my P60s though.

Guys, why do you worry about P60. if you provided bank statements and salary slips, is more than enough. Any one thinks that is not enough?

Concern is just about the period before grant of Tier-1.

Its good if someone has sal slips/bank statement for that period or just P-60's its either or.

In some cases previous grant like WP approval letters have also worked.

Hi Mant,

I contacted Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman, via their website http://www.ombudsman.org.uk/ .

Hope this helps you to fast track your application.

Dear Saikripa,

Could you kindly pm me the template letter you sent to your MP and ombudsman. I am thinking about contacting them to expedite my case.

I would really appreciate you help.

Thanks

Hi

I knew about this forum only after i submitted my application. I have been with only one employer during these five years and have used my employer letter to emphasize my 5 years residency. I also submitted my work permit approval docs and HO document received by my employer approving the work permit. Fingers cross i hope HO will be fine with this. All themandatory documents were provided.
I ama work permit holder.
Any views will be much appreciated. I am a bit worried now.

thanks

Advise Required: Is it wise to hire a Solicitor

Post by mant » Tue Aug 20, 2013 4:39 pm

Hi Guys,

Like i said in my previous emails. I'm a November 5th 2012 applicant set (0) and am yet to receive any feedback from HO apart from biometric finger printing and now i am going through Pyschological trauma as this is now a concern to me.

Please i need advise, Do i hire a Solicitor or go through Ombudsman as the last update i received from my MP was that my case is still with a Case worker. This is driving me insane. Please advise

Hi, I called home office today as its going to be 8 months tomorrow since I applied for my ILR. The guy who attended my call told me that your
"" APPLICATION IS INCOMPLETE"" and still under process. Its the same reply which was given to me last week.

I called Home Office this morning, called twice this week, got a nice guy on the phone who confirmed that my application has finally been allocated to a case worker but no decision has been made so far. Is this a new excuse for delaying our application? I am not sure. It has been more than 8 months that I am waiting, such a frustrating experience.
