Passport application

Post by jazb » Mon Aug 19, 2013 11:14 pm

Hello,

I've got ILR since 2012 and my baby was born in Jan 2013.

As he is british citizen by birth, I've applied for his British passport.

Bit confused with the passport interview thing. As this application is for a baby, what will happen? Will there be an interview? Or they will just post me the baby's passport? I'd also sent my passport with ILR with his passport application.

Thanks

Relax and don't worry. You have done the right thing.
Your baby is British.
You'll get your baby's passport by post as well as your ILR.
They'll NOT interview / interrogate your BABY :P

Just to clarify, your child was born in the UK?

It would be difficult to interview a baby.
