Err, Fiancee visa?UberKrieger wrote:Hi, my fiancee applied for a Working Holidaymaker which was denied because the amount in her bank account was in a single deposit by myself. They believed that she accumulated the amount artificially to secure entry clearance. We have not appealed against it as we made the mistake of not mentioning that I was loaning her the money at the time.
Is there any other Visa she can apply for to stay in the UK with me?
My father owns a business and he says that he will employ her, is this possible? if so, which Visa does she need to apply for?
She has no degree qualifications although she does have skills that are suitable for the job.
Not really, mate; why can't a UK French speaker do the job or a Native English-speaking Frenchman, or woman, from the EU?UberKrieger wrote:She's Bi-Lingual in French and English, my dad's business needs an interpreter. Is that good enough?
None of this would be a reason to deny a settlement visa. Might make it necessary to make a more water-tight application but very few settlement visas are denied from North America provided u've got income to support the both of you and somewhere to live.UberKrieger wrote:The reason we tried to get a Working HolidayMaker Visa was because she had already gotten to caution entry stamps and she wanted to spend about 2 years living with me.
Now she was denied the Working HolidayMaker Visa she cannot enter the UK at all. Even if she does have enough funds, she cannot enter.
We wanted to apply for a settlement for her once we're married but we're afraid that because she was denied the Working HolidayMaker Visa this will look suspicious and deny her the settlement.
I just wish I knew what was best..
And lots of proof of relationship, banks statements, payslips, photos, phone records, cover all bases....travellerboy wrote:It's a bit more complicated than quickly getting married and then getting the spouse visa etc. If your partner has been refused an Entry Clearance (Working Holiday), she'll already be on the Immigration warning index. Secondly, because of the EC refusal and then a sudden marriage, the closeness of your relationship will probably be tested. As long as you've known each other for a while, you shouldn't have too many problems!
You don't go for interview, she does. You can be there but I don't think u'll be allowed in the interview.UberKrieger wrote:I have the following supporting documents;
Finance - Hers and mine Bank Statements covering the last 3 months of income, Letter from my Employer confirming work and salary, Proof of joint savings accounts,
Identification - Passports, Drivers License, Birth Certificate,
Relationship - Pictures together, Joint financial commitments, letters from friends/family describing our relationship, Cards, Letter of Sponsorship from me, my father & my mother, wedding ring receipts, Marriage Certificate
House - Paid Utility Bills, Rental Agreement, Pictures of Apartment, Plan of Apartment
If I go for an interview in Ottawa, will this Visa be processed the same day? If not, how long?
