Hi,
My Tier 1 General visa got stamped on 4th Jan 2009 and I came to UK on 6th March 2009 around 51 days after, so I can ignore this and say that my 5 years continuous start date is 4th Jan 2009.
My first visa extension I got it starts from 9th December 2011, as I went for in person for this, my visa start date is 9th December 2011 instead of 3rd Jan 2012 when my tier 1 visa actually gets expire, difference of 26 days.
My understanding is that 55 days + 26 days = 77 days is the total number of days which I am falling short for my 5 years continuous stay.
My question is do i qualify to apply for ILR or I should apply for an extension and after couple of months apply for ILR. If I qualify for ILR than when is the earliest I can apply.
Thanks,
Anurag
