Its worth giving the council a call and check if they have received your certificate, if they have then they should be able to book you in for the ceremony ... This again depends on how the council prefers to allocate slots. Some council send out pre allocated slots to you as an invitation letter ...

So best to ring them up ... which council do you belong to anyways ?

I sent my application through NCS on 4 JUNE in fact full money is taken out on 10 JULY and today I go an email reply stating "no decision made ".

Many people from 3rd week of July and later have received approval. Seems like there may be held up from 2nd week due to system problems just started then.

That means you have to wait; 1 month or up to 6; nobody knows.... However, it seems sensible to contact them again in a month; I think I'll do that, myself.

Hi guys

My wife sent out an email today requesting to check if the application has been allotted a case worker, and they replied saying no decision has yet been made and the application is awaiting to be assigned to a case worker

Her application was received on 17th July, and fees debit acknowledged on 23rd. No progress ever since.

We will check again 1st or second week of October and see if there has been any luck (at least to getting the application assigned a case worker in 3 months time by then).

Very strange process indeed at UKBA. Many August applications have already been decided even, and some July apps (from second week i think) are still not even assigned to a case worker.

They seem to have a very random process in place indeed.

But anyway, there is nothing more to do than wait!
But hey, one day surely we will receive that brown cover

Yes August approvals have started coming, and we are still waiting, so are some April and May ones....hope for the best.

I applied on the 22nd, emailed them on Monday and they said "no decision made", so I'm in the same situation. The service could definitely be better and more logical; unfortunately, the HO are full of inconsistencies, but that's the way, they are, not much we can do; I'm starting to think that maybe it was a mistake to apply for citizenship, but it's done now, so we will see when / if we get a reply....
