HSMP VS PR

Post by Kaff » Tue May 22, 2007 5:28 am

Guys,

I am about to apply for HSMP in couple of weeks.

I have gone through most of posts and everybody is very helpful here.

I also have some questions regarding HSMP.

What sort of benefits I will get under HSMP , say for example if you compare it with PR...

Is there any link which explains the differance between those.

Here are examples.

1. How easy to buy a house ?
2. How easy to get a Mortgage? is there any limit or it depends on Income?
3. How easy to get Personal Loan?
4. How much Child Tax Credit or Family Assistance you will get?
5. What about benefits for Kids (Is education is free up to what age?)
6. What about Child Health Facility (Is it free up to what age?)

Any other information which may help?

My only reason to apply for HSMP is to come closer to my family in UK...

Needs your advice Please...

Thanks in Advance..

You can not avail yourself of public funds on any permit until you obtain ILR status.
The website immigration website defines what benefits are considered public funds.

I know one that you can do Job independently...what are other, is there any web site tells you summary about that?

Anybody could tell me specific answers to my questions please?

>> Which PR are you talking. In genreal, hsmp means you are on toes till get PR for UK . Anytime in case you fail to show your ecnomic sustanbility may be say beacuse of medical reasons even. You lost the game. Go back from where u come

1. How easy to buy a house ?

very easy. Pay the money and get the house. Many people from abrod without any resident status are buying house in uk

2. How easy to get a Mortgage? is there any limit or it depends on Income?

> hsbc & halifax are two main people who give loan to hsmp people. genreal 4 times ur basic salary

3. How easy to get Personal Loan?
>> Personal loan is easier to take than mortgage

4. How much Child Tax Credit or Family Assistance you will get?

only medical & kid education upto GCSE is free. Other may correct me

5. What about benefits for Kids (Is education is free up to what age?)
6. What about Child Health Facility (Is it free up to what age?)

as far as child education and health facility is concerned, yes they are free for any hsmp dependent's child. even NHS is free not only for children but for hsmp holder and all its dependent.
you are not eligible to get child tax credit on hsmp because that comes under public fund.
thanks
