Kids passport Expired -- ILR Next month - Advice?

Hi

I am applying ILR next month along with my family. My KIDS passports are expired.

Should i get passport renewed before going to ILR? What if i dont?

If they were not born in the UK and there is no time to get new passports, then apply using their expired passports.

Yes applying with kids. Is there any rule which says that they should hv valid passport at time of ILR application ?

Not sure if I apply now and will get new passport before my PEO date....slightly worried
