Smiggy applied on 26th march 2013 and got his/her visa after 100 working days and someone also applied in march got his visa after 93 working days,i forgot his name I think that was akhan but I am not sure.

They were only two people of march who wait for long 90 plus working days and rest of people were got their visas in 70-78 working days but now there is big line who is waiting for longer

Hassan applied on 18th April (98 working days)
Javeria applied on 23rd April(95 working days)
hb28098 applied on 23rd April(95 working days)
sameena applied on 25th April(93 working days)

You are all in the same boat, but your circumstances are all different and that is why some application get dealt with more quickly than others. The reasons for these are :

That certain applications are prepared better than others. ( ie have all the correct documents requested by ECO).

The checks that BHC makes with various organizations are much quicker than others,this is because the documents are all legal and genuine and the facts contained in those docs is correct

When the above two apply, the application takes a lot less time to be dealt with than those with where they are doubt in the application because it is poorly prepared or the documents are not genuine or the info in them simply does not add.

I have seen so many applications,and take it from me, even those prepared by solicitors are poorly prepared.

I also know that certain applications are just put on hold for the time being due to the challenge to the £18600 in the High Court.Until such a time a decision is made on this matter, the applications will be put on hold.The ones that are being out on hold are the ones earning less or just the above amount.

I also think a lot of people here need to be patient and wait for the outcome.Bombarding BHC with inquiries will only result in them sending a standard reply.

I just want to say that it's not possible that all the end of April applicants prepared their applications poorly, there is something wrong which has done in BHC with our applications

And if our applications have put on hold due to any reason then it's the responsibility of BHC to inform us about the delay at least.

The guidelines say the most it will take is 120 working days ( which is equivalent to 6 months......the lengthiest delay so far from the above list is 98 days......so they still have another month left before the 6 months are up.If those dont get dealt with by then, then you have a justification to make a formal complaint about their service

so you applied as self employed but it does not matter that you are self employed or just employed, it is just a matter of luck.
I remember that ANWAAR786 applied as a self employed on 8th April and he got the visa on 25th July in just 77 working days.

No fix time frame..

People got visas in one month, two months..

Majority got it in 3 and half months.

And some people are waiting for 4+ months..

All depends on luck

I pray that you will get your visa soon but there is no precise time frame, it's 20th week now since the time of my application and I am still waiting.
