Old Photos for Passport Application

Dear All

I am applying for first UK passport for self and family this week around 11th or 12th September 2013. Would it be ok if i use the photos taken for our naturalisation application in June 2013?

Guidance is that photos should be taken within the last month. However, if you look identical, I really couldn't see an issue, but it's always best to follow the guidance.
