Queries on Tier 2 ICT Long Term Visa

Hi,
Could someone kindly advise me on the below queries:-

1) what is the maximum duration of stay in the UK on the Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Migrant Visa? My company says that I can stay for a maximum of 3 years, whereas, I think in many sources online it is mentioned that such a visa holder can stay for upto 5 years.

2) I had got entry clearance into UK on 5th Oct 2011 with this Visa. IS there any other visa that I could move to incase I want to continue staying in the UK by changing my employer?

I would appreciate if experts on this forum could kindly advise me on this.

1. Assuming your pay is less than £152.1k your T2 ICT leave can be extended up to 5 years

2. You cannot change to Ter 2 General and a new sponsor without leaving the UK and waiting 12 months (cooling-off). The family route could be a way of staying in the UK (as a dependant)
