EC and VISA validity (for later Date )

Hi All,

I have got the HSMP approval in Mar 14 and it is valid till 13 Sep 2007 ..

Now I want to apply for EC through VFS in Bangalore but I want the VISA Validity from Jan 2008 as i have some dependency and I can not go there this year ..

Would it be possible to ask the embassy for the VISA Validity from Jan 2008 ... or it will increase the chance for the VISA Rejection ?

It may not be possible. You need to apply for HSMP approval again.

theres a section in visa form asking date of arrival..u could mention jan 8 there..

further more in other information u could give yr reason for u wanting jan 8 as stamp date...

this has no connection with making yr case weak....
