Hi,
we are applying for tourist visa for my wife (Birmingham UK) who recently obtained British citizenship.
After she got her naturalisation and before her British passport application we apply to change of name from UK via solicitor (Its a simple templated letter from solicitor stating name change with solicitor's sign and stamp. Not from one of those online services). So on her British passport her new name is printed while on naturalisation and her Indian passport surrender her old name is printed.
My question is when we apply for tourist visa in UK; do we need to supply the deed letter (from our solicitor) here in UK (The same letter that we have used when we applied for British Passport)? Will IHC here in UK consider this letter for change of name ?
THanks
