Hello,
Can plz someone advise me how to start my Canadian visa .. I m an IT programmer from 8 years.i had applied for federal worker category in dec 2009. Got through the first step but did nt do ielts on time and waz rejected.Can I still apply.

You can still apply, why didn't you do your IELTS in time, was it that you could not get dates or was it due to preparation? You could have written to CIC asking for an extension stating reasons.

It waz because of preparation,I didn't know that we could notify them.
I m currently in UK for the next 2years ,where do I start the forms. Can you plz share the links.

CIC has changed the way they accept application, now its quota based.

Have you received a letter from CIC saying that they have closed your file?
If you have file number, probably you can write to them asking to reopen the file, which is 99% unlikely, but no harm in trying.

There are also some provincial programmes, check the cic website and have a good read thru.

There is a link to check the quota allocation, I will need to find it and post, till then have a good read.

Click on the link in my previous post, depends what fsw category you are applying but looks like for computer related field its full or about to be.
