Progression rule - studies undetaken outside the UK?

Post by silverchloride » Fri Sep 13, 2013 10:06 am

Hi all,

I am aware of the 'progression requirements' for Tier 4 students, but was wondering if there's any information on whether this is applicable to studies undertaken outside the UK?

For instance, if an overseas student studies in US for 4 years but wants to now transfer to the UK into the 1st or 2nd year of the same degree programme. How will UKBA treat his application?

Similarly, if someone completes a degree in their home country, but then want to do the same thing again in the UK from scratch.

Any advise / reference to UKBA rules will be very much appreciated.

Many thanks,
S
