Post by Isba » Wed Sep 18, 2013 10:20 pm

Some people are really funny with their personal details although you know them they still don't want everyone to know their age so my question is does my referee the professional one, does she need to put her date of birth?

The list is non-exhaustive. HR officer/manager can sign.

Son dad abroad no contact for years mn1 application

Post by Isba » Thu Oct 03, 2013 7:54 pm

Was not going to applied for my son registration and wait till the next few years when he turn 18 he could apply himself for naturalisation but I have change my mind.
I have completed the form but I think I got a problem and I can't find anyone on the forum with the answer, his dads live aboard no contact for years and he never cares when he lives over there. From what I have read I will not be able to apply without his consent is that correct.

In general yes but there are cases the need would be dispensed (for example - no contact for many years). See 9.18.13 there.
