I'm applying for Tier 1 general dependent visa from India Kolkata. However, unfrtunately I had booked the appointment for fast track visa servies. Is there will be any problem If I would attend the same appointment for Tier 1 general dependent visa.

REPLY WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED...IT'S VERY URGENT PLEASE REPLY!!

Not sure, but I think fast track is only for visitors and certain other categories. I don't think tier 1 falls under that.

3 July 2013 - Status on vfs website changed to: Processed application couriered to Blue Dart.

On Blue Dart, tracked the package using the passport number as the Ref num - Says in Transit.

Will update once I receive the delivery

We have received my wife's passport with the visa stamped - 5th July, 2013.

Thanks to this very useful forum for assistance.

For info, list of docs I submitted:
1) Marriage certificate - Attested by Ministry of External affairs
2) TB certificate
3) ICICI bank statements for 3 months - Printed color logo and stamp/sign
4) My visa copy and BRP card copy

I think these are mandatory. Other docs I submitted:

1) 3 months payslips and P60
2) Marriage, engagement photos

I am planning to apply dependant visa of my UK born child from India. My question is that at the time of application will VFS keep both parents passports? OR they'll just need self attested copies and return the original passport?

According to the new rules what documents need to submit?

1. maintenance fund - is it possible to show by me from uk or must need to show by my wife?

2.accomadation -tenancy agreement or any utility bills needed?
