Mp intervention

Post by SmrAussie » Mon Sep 23, 2013 9:21 pm

I asked my MP to expedite my case as I have been offered a new job, the home office refused to expedite as it wasn't on compassionate grounds. They did however promise it would be done within the 6 months...

From the posts here, I have noticed that SET(M) and Work Permit Set(O) applications are being processed reasonably quickly. Its the SET(O) Tier1/HSMP which is taking forever. They are still processing Jan applications.

I am agree with you IceCold. I am also January applicant and waiting for the response. If you call UKBA they also keep telling they are processing January Application. Any January applicant got any response?

Tier-2 Intra Company Transfer ILR 5-year route

Post by Shotgun » Fri Sep 27, 2013 12:06 am

Hi guys,

Im about to apply for ILR and currently under Tier-2 intra company transfer. I have already hold a biometric ID from previous Visa renewal in 2010 and have a continuous period of 4 years and 11 months now. Im planning to submit my application in early Oct (next week) which is 28 days before my current permit expires.

My question is, since UKBA already have my biometric info,, do i need to enroll biometric again for ILR application? Most of the processing times I see posted by forum members includes doing biometric enrollment. Im just thinking if i dont need to re-enroll , maybe that can speed things up?

Reading about how some application takes until 8 months to process scares me a bit. What would the common processing time be for a straightforward, no dependence, tier 2 ict applicant like myself ? Is a 2 months processing time possible?

Hi all,
I missed royal mail today special delivery that i included with my application. I am collecting it tomorrow and now i cant explain how i feel, I just hope its gonna be happy news.

Do they normally ring you when its approved or they just send you all in post??????

Thank you

bl2013 wrote:Hi All,
I am nov 12 applicant bio done mid jan 13.

I need your help/advice please. only got 5 days to return all info ..Thanks in advance.

I'v got letter from UKBA/Case Worker stating that my application for settlement is based on family reasons and full time employment. However you/I have not provided any evidence to demonstrate this.

What evidence do i need to provide to prove that i am in full time/ permanent employment?
I sent with my application: P60 for 5 years, 20 weeks of payslips and letter from my employer stating my position, average earnings and date i started.

I have copy of my contract but photocopies are not accepted and i lost original some years ago.

Can i get my employer to write me a formal letter again stating that i am in permanent employment?

Family reasons i stated that my mum's health has deteriorated since my arrival and that i am helping my mum as much as i can and to cover this i can sent my mums medical history report.

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my timeline. It took a long time but very happy now :-)

2 years HSMP + 3 years tier 1 (1 dependant)

Application Posted: 03/01/2013

Many thanks to all who shared their information here. It really helped me to track the general progress of applications.
I contacted my MP many months ago but I don't think it speeded up my process.
This forum helped me more than anything else to keep my hope and patience.

Hi All,
Finally the ILR is approved.

Application type : SET(O) HSMP 2 + Tier1 3
Applied : 19 Feb 2013
Biometrics submitted : 05 Mar 2013
Documents received : 30 Sep 2013.

I received Royal mail and DX courier "Something for you" card on the same day. Collected documents and biometric card yesterday.

I had written to the MP and about 10 days back she responded saying that she has raised my issue with the concerned office. Maybe her interference helped my application.

I explained the actual problems I was facing like not able to change jobs, travel on work/leisure etc. I also mentioned that it was wrong on the part of the Home Office to commit to 6 within months, but then delay it. Also the passport is the only form of ID I hold currently, without which there are a range of things you cannot do.
