Hi KCK

Do not worry. I got the same msg and am still getting the same msg. I have received my approval letter this week.

Guess, there is an issue in royal mail tracking when we send the letters to Post Box.

Cheers
XM

Hi all,

sent in-country application on 31st May (Thursday).

checked on the RoyalMail portal today and there's no tracking record.

now i am slightly concerned that it's lost.

Next day delivery should have been received on Friday (1st June).

Hi guys,

thanks for the reply.

I sent in payment via postal order, so i won't know if payment has been deducted (as in the case of credit card).

i am concerned that there's no tracking record entered in the royal mail portal. the portal seems to be working, just lacks tracking status of my parcel.

i understand that tracking starts once my parcel arrives at one of their mail centres. i am just concerned that if the postal office ppl get things mixed up and my item isn't delivered then it just creates so much hassle for me.

you guys realize that royal mail loses 14 million mails in the last 12 months. that's more than a million per month. i am really skeptical about the service.

don't worry Lonely. I'm on the same case. I couldn't track my item on the website and assumed it's an IT problem.
I will call them on Monday if I still can't track it by then. Phone number 08457 001 200.

Dear HSMPreqJun07, lonelyuk
I am pretty sure that there is some problem with the Royal mail tracking system. I understand your concerns, what lonelyuk is telling is right, trackin system is working for few of the reference numbers. but i think it is having the problem with the new references. the same thing happend with my cousins application, but atlast we found his card been charged on 1st Jun. So i thnk it might be the same case with ur applications.

Thnx

hi kck9,

thanks for the reply.

i just checked on the portal again, there's still no information available, all it says is 'come back later'.

i really hope it's the system not updating to date than mis-handled by the post-office.

will keep u guys updated

Hi Lonelyuk,

Do not worry about ur parcel. I had phoned the same problem as well..I phoned the royal mail service line and they told me that there is a problem with their tracking service especially with the mails sent to PO Box address....

Call home office to relieve urself of the tension...don't worry.

Thanks,

President.

Thnx for the update. did they tell you the reference number directly if you give the details. Generally when we call them they ask for the reference number first and then do the further proceedings. But you said you got the reference number from them. so what did they askd for. have they askd u jst the name address and DOB or anything else.

Thnx

Hi kck9,

if you type your cousin's ref number into the tracking system, does it also say "Come back later"?

Thanks.

Hi guys,

thanks all for the help and support.
so much appreciated in times likes this.

i called the royal mail customer service number and one of their representative confirmed that it's been delivered to the sheffield mail centre but he's not sure what's going on from there.

No problem..... I think that is only payment reference number. it is not hsmp reference number. generally hsmp reference number is 6 numbers i think
