Age Proof - Spouse settlement visa

Hi there,

Is it necessary to submit "Age Proof" along with the application for the Settlement spouse visa.

If so what documents can be submitted.
Birth Certificate, School Matriculation Certificate, etc

The age proof will be evident in the passport - both sponsor's and applicants.

I have just received my approval for british citizenship. I still need to attend the ceremony on which I will receive the "certificate of British citizenship".

I have a second nationality, from an EU country.

My question is : my wife needs to apply for a spouse visa (with a British partner = me). Do I need to necessarily get a British passport before we can apply ? Or can I present my EU passport and / or the "certificate of British citizenship" as a proof of my age ?
