Thanks to Jesus...I just got me Biometrics cards!

Post by Nzekells » Fri Oct 04, 2013 11:44 am

First, I thank God. Then to everyone on this forum who shared their experience and advice...who were encouraging or skeptical: A HUGE THANK YOU! This forum was my reference/ research zone. I left the page constantly open on my iPad for months in preparation for the application.

I did not get any approval letter. Just some minutes ago however, a knock on the door. DX. Two envelopes which I signed for. 'Me biometric cards', as we'd say in Britain.

Applied on 13/08/13
Biometrics on 04/09/13
Card issued on 02/10/13

THANK YOU!!!
Opinion is researchedly mine!

Here:
Original degree certificate
Passport/BRP
Personal bank statement with maintenance covering 90 days
Mid year Unaudited company accounts showing how much already invested
Personal bank account showing balance of investment funds
Letter from bank showing company has a bank acc
Cover letter from me
Website printout/ business card
Trade body membership card photocopy - signed
Contract with the various names, phone, signature + company email
Director's loan legal agreement
CT41G form
Accountant Certificate of confirmation

I labelled most documents with a sticker note, to make them instantly recognisable.

Sorry, add me CV and business plan too. The plan I must add, was not very professional.

No Darvesh...it was a single person app. Business nature is media production.

Congratulations

Did you hire an office space that was used as your business address?

Thanks for your response.

Did you provide anything to prove that you are permitted to work from home? like your tenancy agreement? I am doing the same thing and someone told me i have to get a letter from my landlord stating i can use the property for business. I hear I will be refused the visa if i don't provide it. did you provide that?

Please who needs a directors loan legal agreement? Do we have to have that even as we have not invested any of our money and we did not get a loan from the bank?

If you have not loaned your company any money, then you wouldn't need one. It seems as if you don't really know what a directors' loan is?

That's why I asked. I don't know what it is.

Thanks

No, I didn't. And it's wrong info, your biz address can be just a correspondence address. However, the kinds of biz activities going on in there will determine if you need a council/ landlord permit.

A directors loan agreement is only needed when you've invested part or wholly in the biz, ur own personal money. This will be seen as a loan, from u to the biz. The ukba law expects u to give them some vital info abt the loan, eg, term, amount, interest if any, % accrueable.

As you have not invested any monies, you do not need to show this. Just show available money as required by the rule. Hope this helps.
