A quick question: Earnings

Hi,

I have couple of quick questions related to earnings.

Suppose my CTC is 6000 Pounds(12 months) which includes the conveyence,PF, Basic salary, medical, etc.

Lets assume that the non-taxable components in the salary amount to 1000 pounds.

So, can I still say that my earnings are 6000pounds or should I exclude the allowances (1000 pounds) as they are nontaxable and mention my earnings as 5000 pounds.

Secondly, is it ok to get the pay details (Salary+allowances+ tax paid) endorsed by a chartered accountant and submit the same.

Please advice.
