My bank statement of 1500£ for last three month in uk
My visa documents copy and my passport photocopy
Filled up the tier 1 general dependent app form

Hi

TB certificate is mandatory depending on the country you are apply from.

If you are a resident of one of the following countries, and you want to come to the UK for longer than 6 months, you must obtain a certificate confirming that you are free from tuberculosis before you apply for a visa:

Bangladesh
Burkina Faso
Cambodia
China (settlement applications only)
Cote d'Ivoire
Democratic Republic of the Congo
Eritrea
Ghana
Hong Kong (settlement applications only)
India (settlement applications only)
Indonesia
Kenya
Laos
Lesotho
Malaysia
Nepal
Niger
Pakistan
Rwanda
Somalia
South Africa
Sudan
Swaziland
Tanzania
Thailand
Togo
Uganda
Zimbabwe
The only exceptions are children under 11 years old, diplomats and their families (but not other members of diplomats' households, such as domestic staff), returning residents, and holders of certificates of entitlement.

Cheers
Sunesh

Maintenance funds
Joint application (migrant + dependant) from within UK when main migrant has been in the UK for >12 months = 900 for self + 600 for each dependant.
Joint application (migrant + dependant) from within UK when main migrant has been in the UK for <12 months = 900 for self + 1800 for each dependant.
Dependant application from outside UK (main migrant yet to arrive in UK or has been in the UK for <12 months) = 1800 for each dependent.
Dependant application from inside UK (main migrant has been in the UK for >12 months) = 600 of each dependent.
Dependant application from outside UK (main migrant has been in the UK for >12 months) = 600 of each dependent.

If you stayed in UK > 12 months for you 900 GBP + 600 GBP = Total 1500GBP

If you stayed in UK <12 months for you 900 GBP + 1800 GBP = 2700 GBP.

Hope this information will help.

Thanks,

Maintenance Funds

Post by manish124 » Mon Oct 07, 2013 10:05 pm

Hi,
I am currently in Tier 1 General Visa since May 2011. I have got my visa renewed in May 2013 for another 3 years. I recently got married in Aug 13 here in the UK. My wife is currently in the UK under PSW which is expiring in Nov. She is currently FT employed here in the UK.
My question is that weather she can apply her PBS dependent visa from UK or does she has to go back to India to apply.
Secondly she is will be applying only her visa, so how much funds we have to show and can that money be shown in her account in India or do i need to show the funds here in the UK in my account.
Thanks in advance.

She can apply her PBS dependent leave to remain from inside the UK.
