PEO Application - Need feedback please.

Post by Mohammed » Tue Oct 08, 2013 10:09 am

Hello All,

I am organizing the documents for my ILR application via Tier 1 General route. I have booked an appointment for the end of October. I have listed all the documents I am planning to submit please have a look and let me know if I have missed anything

SET-O Form
2 Photos
Passport
Bio-metric Card
Tier1 extension approval letter
Life in the UK certificate
12 months bank statement (October 2012 - September 2013) - this bank account receives my salary
12 months online salary slip ((October 2012 - September 2013)) signed and stamped by my employer
P60 for the last 5 years
Points Assessment print out

Photocopies of all the above documents

To prove that I have enough points
Masters Degree - 35 points (no documentary evidence required as already proved during my initial Tier 1 application)
Previous Earnings - 45 points (12 months bank statements and Salary Slips)
Age - 5 points (Passport)
UK experience - 5 points (12 months bank statements and Salary Slips)

Total number of days outside the UK in the past 5 years is 75, all were paid annual leave. I have a letter from my employer stating number of annual leave I have been entitled to in the past 5 years. I have also got a list from them with all the dates I have taken off both in and out of the country and they have confirmed all were paid leave. I am planning to write a letter stating all the entry and exits and reason for travel.

Is there anything I have missed ?

Thanks.

PEO at Glasgow

Here is my case and list of documents submitted:

I applied for an ILR for SET (O)
• Appointment was at 1030
• Entered the building at 1015, signed declaration.
• Registered the case at 1030, documents verified then.
• All the original documents were put into one file and I was told to await further instructions
• Payment made through credit card using details on the form.
• Bio-metrics at 1045 (she was hilarious and good fun too!).
• Was told it was approved so I went for a quick walk to answer my emails (there is nothing to do in the area!) and returned to collected the copies of the documents at 1230
• Simple and seamless

Documents Submitted:

Cover Letter from the Main Applicant

Application Form

• Completed and Signed Set(O) Form with proof of deposit payment
• Two Photographs of the Main Applicant (they only kept one)

Proof of Identity

• Passport of the Main Applicant

Current Employer Letter and Proof of Earnings

• 12 Months’ Payslip
• 12 Months’ Bank Statement

Life in the UK Test and the Degree Certificate

• Life in the UK Test - Pass Notification Letter of the Main Applicant

BRP

• Handed this to them, they retained

Proof of Absences

• Absence List Spreadsheet (over 300 days absence in 5 years, 97 in one)
• Absence Letter from the Current and Previous Employer

That was it, very friendly people there...do bring reading material and drinks/food as there is only a vending machine (but cafe across the way).
Keep it simple, do not add additional paperwork for them if it is not required!

That's me done!

You don't need these. Carry them but do not submit.
