Sponsorship Licence Application

Post by UKkumar » Tue Oct 08, 2013 11:17 pm

Dear Gurus,

Can some eligible to apply for sponsorship licence while on ILR? OR need British citizenship?

His company is 4 year old and it's turn over is about 75-80K per annum.

If yes, what are the documents need to prepare for sponsorship licence application?

Please share your experience.

It's the business that applies rather than the individual director or owner. The immigration status of the director or owner is not relevant; many companies in the UK are owned by directors who have absolutely no residence status in the UK.

No, because the guidance only says what is necessary rather that what is not necessary, otherwise it would be the biggest document in the world due to it having to list absolutely every condition in the universe that did not apply. For example, riding on a elephant is not a condition to be a sponsor, but nor does it say that you don't have to ride on an elephant to be a sponsor in the guidance!

You have to realise that it is the duly UK-registered business that is the sponsor rather than the individual owner(s) of the business. When you can come to terms with that reality you can stop asking for information that does not exist.

I wonder if you imagine that your friend can get a licence and sponsor you as T2 migrant; this being a contrivance rather than a genuine necessity due to lack of skills in the resident labour market - I would say that it's not likely!
