Ancestry

Is there any reason why a person who acquires Commonwealth citizenship by investment in the country concerned shouldn't be eligible to claim ancestry provided he satisfies the other requirements, e.g. has one British born grandparent?

Well, the requirement says "you are a Commonwealth citizen" and did not say "born in a commonwealth country" so I don't expect the person not to be qualified for Ancestry if they apply for Ancestry as a Citizen of that commonwealth country.
