More than being just a collegiate paper, Mr Liam Byrne's ideas are powering a consultation to vastly rework the immigration and citizenship provisions.

I'm not saying whether this is good or bad, but everyone who has a stake in this issue MUST RESPOND TO THE CONSULTATION. If you are not comfortable with your English and would like me to have a look at your response to the consultation, please private message me directly.

I hope your post will prompt an effective response.

The new fees snuck in off the back of a consultation last year which very few people outside of the academe responded to...
