Entering country 1 week before expiry of Tier 1 dependt visa

Hi,

My Tier 1 dependent VISA expire by 25th of January. I am currently in India for a pregnancy and my husband is in UK.

Can i enter the country one week before expiry of my current VISA?

Me and my husband planning to apply for renewal together after i reach UK through post. on last week of our VISA expiry.

Is there any written/unwritten rule saying they wont allow inside country if we are nearing expiry of visa.

Thats what VFS told me today. But just want to get an idea that i am not doing anything wrong here.

Pregnancy is a genuine enough reason.
Keep your documents with you and don't see any reason.
