No Insurrance and Not displaying L Plates - Driving w provis

Guys, I'm in a dilemma.

My wife got stopped by the police in July this year, she's due to tomorrow for her citizenship.
The offence was :
- Driving on a provisional
- Not displaying L Plates
- Not on the car insurrance.
She received a court summons 3 days ago and had to plead guilty by post.

1 - Now we're really honestly worried as we don't know wether she'll meet the good character requirements (for my part : no), but is there anything we can say in the box provided to give her a chance?

She ticked the box where it says : Have you got pending convictions / or not yet tried in court. (3.18 i think)

2 - What are the chances of refusal?

3 - If she's refused, how long does she have to wait.

4 - Are those offences included in her criminal record? If yes, for how long?

5 - What are her options??

6 - Are there any cases where despite the above, someone got their application approved, or is it a no-go whatever happens?

Note : She fulfills FULLY all the other requirements. Is there any discretion despites this?

She will not meet the good character requirement. You can say what you want to say in the box. It will still be a refusal.

Hundred percent.

Not IF, she WILL be refused.

Yes they are included. For naturalisation purpose, they are active for 3 years from the date conviction is pronounced in the court.

6 - Are there any cases where despite the above, someone got their application approved, or is it a no-go whatever happens?

Only if the person is stateless. Its not a no-go. She is free to apply. Just that her application will be refused, and application fee lost.

Did not find anything regarding this but if you are charged or receive a summons for an offence after you were granted citizenship : Do you have to inform HO??
