Hi everyone I just woke up this morning as usual hoping to spend my day lounging as I always do without status, I heard this loud bang bang on my door and I was thinking who could this be is it home office coming to disturb my peace or what my woman went to open the door while I was behind her to see who it was there was this tall man with an OPP style of dressing wearing his baseball cap backward my woman took the letter off him and I snapped it up, saw my name on it press the envelope there was something like a bank card I tore it open there was a bio-metric card . My story is I came to this country on a Visiting visa in 2005 over stayed the six months I met my partner during this time. I was working and living in Manchester but she lives in stoke on Trent so we had a long distance relationship but in 2009 I left my job and came to live with my woman during this time we had 2 daughters one 6 now and one is 1 year 8 months and she also had a boy from her previous relationship. I first applied for Zambrano In August 2012 and I was refused in April 2013 so I decided to put in FLR (0) in August first one was invalid cos i made a mistake in filling the payment then i re applied on Sept 5th 2013 bio metric 13th of Sept they asked for more document and I sent more documents on the 8th of October my bio metric was delivered today 24th of October it was issued on the 22nd of October.

My story briefly:

Came here in 2000 on a visitor's visa and overstayed (issues i can't get into now). Anyway, I tried to regularise my status in 2010 as a dependent of my mother when she applied as the unmarried spouse of a british citizen. Was refused in 2011 which i knew would happen as I was over the age of 18- surprisingly, my mother's application was refused also (she has a british partner and british child).

At that time I was in a relationship with my boyfriend who is now my husband and moved in with him literally a month after the application was sent. As mentioned above the application was refused in summer of 2011 (received the letter the day I found out i was pregnant). Had difficulties with the pregnancy so decided to wait until after the baby was born before trying again to regularise my status. Got married in March 2012, I was 8 months pregnant and literally quaking in my boots that UKBA would come and drag me out on my wedding day. By the grace of God it went off without an itch yay!

So in January of this year my solicitor put in flro application based on me being the spouse/wife of a british citizen and the parent of a british child (not entirely sure of the particulars but know that in the cover letter he quoted countless amount of case studies relating to my case).

Anyway, here we are 9 months later and they've asked me for more documents some or most of which I haven't got but both my husband and solicitor has written good cover letters to explain this and i sent what I do have. What I found strange was the fact that not only did they ask for all our passports but they also asked for my daughter's (who is 18mnths old) 'red book'. What do you guys think? I mean she has been a poorly baby with chest problems ( probably will be asthmatic when she is older), has been admitted to hospital a few times which they know about. So I am not entirely sure about that one....(the case of the 'red book' I mean). We've sent it anyway.

Hi everyone I just woke up this morning as usual hoping to spend my day lounging as I always do without status, I heard this loud bang bang on my door and I was thinking who could this be is it home office coming to disturb my peace or what my woman went to open the door while I was behind her to see who it was there was this tall man with an OPP style of dressing wearing his baseball cap backward my woman took the letter off him and I snapped it up, saw my name on it press the envelope there was something like a bank card I tore it open there was a bio-metric card . I HAVE BEEN GRANTED 2.5 THANKS TO EVERYONE THIS FORUM YOU ALL HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC

This is my story..

I have been waiting almost 13month now for the decision of my application,I have been living in uk since 1999 on visiting visa and overstayed till now..in 2008 i was arrested by police for assault was told to come court for the case in the same 2008 but i was scared to go court,so i jump the bail.in 2011 was arrested again and was keep in prison for 21 days for the 2008 case and i won the case and was not charge for the 2011 arrest because they are looking for someone else but during the 2011 arrest was interview by immigration officers and served removal notice section 4 or something because i have no prove of how i enter the uk which is true because i have no passport and during my 21 days in prison one of immigration staff came visit me and asking me to sign travel document but i did not sign anything...

My applicationis fresh and base on parent of a child in my child she's 16 months old now and my partner both British and we are expecting another baby early next year but ukba did not know about the new coming baby..my problem is,i have been with partner since 2010 but we not living together until 2011 and we only prove a year and 7 months of living together when i submit my application,so im scared of getting refuse because i don't have money to go court.

Guys sorry for long story..I just can't stop thinking about it every second my mind not settle..please guys did I have chance of success.

You can imagine how scared I am..I have not call HO for once..Too scared lol

1yr 7months is enough to satisfy them, they are more interested in recent documents (proof of address) than very old ones, but it's good you've sent all of them. They're not very strict on it with overstayers. I couldn't get docs that cover the whole years I've been with my partner but I got granted. Don't worry too much, you will be granted!

Thanks for your response..can you please tell me how long you been with your partner and how many years can you provide when you apply and did you send additional document before your decision is made!

I've been living together my partner for 3 over years. My caseworker requested further documents to prove 2 years cohabitation, but I was only able to prove 1yr and explained in a cover letter I couldn't register or sign up to things that could generate more proof due to my overstaying status, even though I've lived at the same address with my partner for 3 years. She again requested documents from the last 3 months of living together with my British partner and daughter to prove I'm currently living together with my them. Luckly for me I had received some letters from the council jointly addressed to both of us so I sent them. 1 month later or so I received my BRP card. Please try to make your application compassionate, it helps a lot.

My story briefly:

Came here in 2000 on a visitor's visa and overstayed (issues i can't get into now). Anyway, I tried to regularise my status in 2010 as a dependent of my mother when she applied as the unmarried spouse of a british citizen. Was refused in 2011 which i knew would happen as I was over the age of 18- surprisingly, my mother's application was refused also (she has a british partner and british child).

At that time I was in a relationship with my boyfriend who is now my husband and moved in with him literally a month after the application was sent. As mentioned above the application was refused in summer of 2011 (received the letter the day I found out i was pregnant). Had difficulties with the pregnancy so decided to wait until after the baby was born before trying again to regularise my status. Got married in March 2012, I was 8 months pregnant and literally quaking in my boots that UKBA would come and drag me out on my wedding day. By the grace of God it went off without an itch yay!

So in January of this year my solicitor put in flro application based on me being the spouse/wife of a british citizen and the parent of a british child (not entirely sure of the particulars but know that in the cover letter he quoted countless amount of case studies relating to my case).

Anyway, here we are 9 months later and they've asked me for more documents some or most of which I haven't got but both my husband and solicitor has written good cover letters to explain this and i sent what I do have. What I found strange was the fact that not only did they ask for all our passports but they also asked for my daughter's (who is 18mnths old) 'red book'. What do you guys think? I mean she has been a poorly baby with chest problems ( probably will be asthmatic when she is older), has been admitted to hospital a few times which they know about. So I am not entirely sure about that one....(the case of the 'red book' I mean). We've sent it anyway.

I am sorry about the length of this post, i didn't realise I would go on for this length of time. Ok just tell me what you think about my case and or any opinions on the request for my baby's red book. Thanks

They are probably looking to confirm all you have mentioned about the child being poorly. They usually don't ask for the redbook if you have a supporting letter from a specialist/ consultant stating the health status/ condition of the child if he/she requires special attention or often poorly.
It's nothing to be apprehensive about, just keep praying and remain focused and hopeful.
