Caseworker made decision,awaiting for managers decision

Hi,

My cousin, who applied for HSMP on 30th May called up HSMP team today, they said the case worker has made the decision on 7th June, but it is still waiting for the final decision to be signed by 2 other people (managers or someone). So they didnt tell the decision as the caseworkers was not the final decision and it might change in the other 2 stages.

Did anyone come accross this situation before and please let me know, how long will it take for him to receive the result. He also sent the urgent treatment as there is some job offer awaiting.

I guess your cousin should have asked them for their estimate for how long it would take the other 2 managers to sign off the case
However it is normal for cases to be double checked by other managers
